Experienced producer, writer, editor, and photographer. Florida born and Brooklyn based. Passionate about visual anthropology, I enjoy experimenting with resonant ways to combine photos, videos and words.
While studying at the University of Florida, I contributed to WUFT News as a reporter and photographer, capturing pivotal moments in protests, politics and personal lives. I primarily worked on long-form photo and video essays, supplementing with my personal analog photography practice.
After earning a B.S. in journalism, I spent four years at CNN. While there, I produced and wrote hundreds of segments for their international and domestic shows, primarily reporting on economic, business and cultural news.
In 2024, I stepped away from CNN to write and edit an inaugural music magazine, Dance Data Underground Fanzine. An archive of America’s current underground music communities, it’s been sponsored by Carhartt WIP and sold at Printed Matter, Arcana Books and record stores across the globe.
Currently, I’m looking to take on new projects. For inquiries, reach me at cheyceb@gmail.com.
