Born in Florida, based in Brooklyn. Experienced producer, writer, editor, and photographer. My blend of creative and analytical thinking makes me an asset in any production environment, but especially in fast-paced settings. Passionate about visual anthropology, I love combining photos, videos and words in impactful ways.
After earning a B.S. in journalism, I spent four years at CNN. While there, I produced and wrote hundreds of segments for their international and domestic shows, primarily reporting on economic, business and cultural news.
Prior, at the University of Florida, I contributed to WUFT News as a reporter and photographer, capturing pivotal moments in protests, politics, and personal lives. My work, particularly in long-form photo and video essays, stands out for its depth and emotional resonance.
In 2024, I stepped away from CNN to write and edit a 100-page magazine, Dance Data Underground Fanzine. The archive of America’s current underground music communities was carried at Printed Matter, Arcana Books and record stores across the globe. All 500 copies are sold out.
Currently, I’m looking to take on new and exciting projects. For inquiries, reach me at cheyceb@gmail.com.
